HAPPY BIRTHDAY *Paya-Dog!!!!

So I haven't been active for like 3 weeks because extreme weather and heatwaves have totally drained away any kind of energy except to veg out in from on the TV all day. So sad yes I know.

And then I remembered; Hey, isn't Paya's Birthday like a day before mine?
So BOOM HAVE AN AWESOME PICTURE OF PAYA!!
Yeas I like to toot my own horn a bit, but really this picture seemed to take forever to finish. Leaving it all to the last minutes of course. Seriously and in all honesty, I think this is the nicest thing I've drawn in a really long time or maybe ever.

By the way, Paya's new markings are so much more time consuming to draw :P But they do look pretty darn good.
And yes I realise Paya is supposed to be more lanky or slim and less stocky but that's just how I art stuff.

Phew, I am really pleased with how this turned out considering I've had no motivation for art lately. And university is starting up soon arrrgh no time after that starts. I'll try to get to my messages and respond to all my wonderful, patient watchers before classes begin.

Critiques are always welcome but not necessary ;)

This is a very colourful and cheerful scene with Paya looking up at the cloudy skies. The background is clearly distinct from the character, which is lineless and uses gradients to add depth. For shading, you've also used different tones of colour. As for Paya, she is well drawn and the cartoony style complements the overall appearance of the piece and the theme. A combination of different tones of colour and blue shading adds depth to this part of the piece.

Fantastic work.
